Those bottles have only been stored in two cellars, the winemaker's and ours.

The Château du Moulin-à-Vent is located in the heart of the appellation which bears its name. It has plots with different terroirs in various places in the appellation and offers single plot or blended vintages. Moulin-à-Vent, spearhead of the Beaujolais wine region, is renowned for its rich and varied terroirs producing complex red wines.

The 4 hectare plot of "La Rochelle" has a very beautiful granite terroir enriched with silica and clay. The Gamay vines are fully expressed to deliver the Château's most complex red wine.

This bottle of Château du Moulin-à-Vent “La Rochelle” 2016 is still a little in its youth. Decant it one hour before tasting.
