Château Tonneret boasts 3 hectares of vines in the commune of Saint Christophe des Bardes, within the renowned Saint-Emilion appellation. It offers excellent value for money when it comes to great Bordeaux red wines.
Its grape varieties are similar to those of other Saint-Emilion vintages: 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc.
Upon tasting, it presents a beautiful, classic image of Bordeaux Right Bank red wines, with a refined nose, beautiful structure, and a lovely balance on the palate.
This bottle of Château Tonneret 2016 comes from an excellent Bordeaux vintage, both rich and approachable in its youth, and also shows great promise for aging.
