One of the four "Premier Grands Crus Classés A" of Saint-Emilion, Château Angelus is among the most prestigious wines of its appellation. Like most red wines from the Right Bank of Bordeaux, it features a majority Merlot (50%) but also a large proportion of Cabernet Franc (47%), typical of Saint-Emilion.
This 2018 Château Angelus comes from a very good vintage in Bordeaux, with wine critics' scores reaching new heights. It is an exceptional wine to be carefully cellared. For tasting today, a long decanting is necessary.
