Those bottles have only been stored in two cellars, the winemaker's and ours.

The history of Maison Vincent Girardin is relatively recent. In the 1980s, in Burgundy, Vincent Girardin broke away from a long family line to produce his own wine. Little by little, he built a great success story in the heart of the Côte de Beaune region thanks to the quality of his wines.

"Champans" is a Volnay climate with very chalky soil, and the Pinot Noir is grown biodynamically. The result is a fresh and structured wine with a beautiful finish and excellent aging potential.

This bottle of Vincent Girardin Volnay Premier Cru "Champans" 2018 is still young; it would be best to wait a little longer. Decant it for one to two hours before enjoying it today.
