A pioneer in Burgundy, the Albert Bichot estate was founded in 1831 and has continued to grow ever since, today producing wines in virtually every appellation.
Fixin (pronounced "fissin") is located in the far north of the Côte de Nuits. This "Clos de la Perrière" is a monopoly, meaning that the Albert Bichot estate is the only one to cultivate this Premier Cru plot, which is relatively rare in Burgundy.
This bottle of Albert Bichot Fixin Premier Cru "Clos de la Perrière" 2018 is already affordable for tasting but can also be aged for a good ten years. It will reveal a skillful blend of concentrated fruit and mineral freshness.
