Pessac Léognan - Graves

Cru Classé

Red - 0,75 l

This Grand Cru Classé of Graves is steeped in history. Indeed, the first harvest of this great Bordeaux wine dates back to 1252, and the arrival of a new owner who would give his name to the château was in 1306: Pope Clement V.
The vineyards are located very close to the city of Bordeaux, in the highly regarded Pessac-Léognan appellation, where both excellent red and dry white wines are produced.
This bottle of Château Pape Clément 2008 is almost reaching its peak, best enjoyed after a brief decanting.
Note the slightly scratched label in the photo opposite, resulting in a price reduction.
