Those bottles have only been stored in two cellars, the winemaker's and ours.

At the helm of a Maison whose adventure began in 1808 in Hermitage, Michel Chapoutier today strives to reveal the richness and uniqueness of the various terroirs of the Rhône Valley, and even beyond.
Le Pavillon is an emblematic single-plot cuvée from Maison Chapoutier, in the Ermitage appellation. It is produced from sixty-year-old Syrah vines planted in granite soil. This beautiful combination, combined with a long and delicate aging in oak barrels, results in a truly great wine recognized by all wine critics.
This bottle of M. Chapoutier Le Pavillon Rouge 2008 can be enjoyed today, preferably after decanting for two hours after opening. It can also be cellared for over ten years.
