Located in Margaux, a famous Bordeaux appellation emblemized by its namesake château, Château du Tertre is a 5th Grand Cru Classé of the Médoc.Its vineyard is composed primarily of Cabernet Sauvignon, followed by Merlot. It also boasts a fairly high proportion of Cabernet Franc (19%) for a wine from Bordeaux's Left Bank.This bottle of Château du Tertre 2019 comes from an excellent vintage. It is still young and will require a good two hours of decanting for tasting today.
