Château Petit Village

1998

Pomerol

Red - 0,75 l

Château Petit Village is located in the heart of Pomerol, a small, very renowned appellation which produces its share of great Bordeaux red wines. This is partly thanks to an exceptional terroir made up of a gravel soil that drains and reflects heat on the surface and a clay subsoil guaranteeing the necessary humidity and freshness in depth.
Like the majority of the Pomerol appellation, Château Petit Village is planted mainly with Merlot (75%), followed by Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon.
This bottle of Château Petit Village 1998 comes from an exceptional vintage on the right bank of Bordeaux, particularly in Pomerol. The concentration of aromas and the aging potential have been greatly improved in this wine which is now at its peak.
