Located in the Haut-Médoc appellation, on a gravelly hilltop north of Pauillac, Château Sociando Mallet is one of the most renowned unclassified Bordeaux red wines. It produces very full-bodied, classic, and elegant wines with excellent aging potential.Its grape varieties are predominantly Merlot (54%), followed by Cabernet Sauvignon (42%) and Cabernet Franc (4%).This Magnum of 1988 Sociando Mallet is still very good to drink, with the large bottle size further enhancing its ageing potential.
