Founded nearly a century ago in the heart of the Mâconnais region, the Trenel estate is now under the aegis of Mr. Chapoutier.
Located in Fleurie, one of the finest Beaujolais appellations, "La Madone" refers to the chapel of the same name that perches atop the mountain, where the vines enjoy a beautiful southeastern exposure and light soil. The result is a flavorful and very refined wine.
This bottle of Trenel "La Madone" 2019 is still a little young; it is best to decant it for an hour or wait a few years before enjoying it.
