"The "sheep path" ... which leads to Grasberg is an exceptional Terroir, a thin slab of aerial limestone, perched above the plain, an ultimate extension reach the western nipple of “Altenberg de Bergheim” where the moderate warm climate is marked by an intense ventilation. Drained by the north wind in summer, protected by the Foehn in autumn, a very poor Terroir where the yellow limestone outcrops allows a vivid expression of the fruits from the complex vine, without the help of Noble Rot."

Aging Potential: 10 years. Can be served now.

Food pairing : Ravioli and puff pastries (snails, scampis). Noble fishes. Poultry or white meats with mushrooms, with creamy sauces or with forgotten vegetables. Sweet bread. Cheeses: county, volumes of ewe, reblochon.
