Château de Fargues

1962

Sauternes

White - 0,75 l

Historically from the same family as the very famous Château d'Yquem, Château de Fargues benefits from the same excellence in its production. Although not officially classified, it is in reality one of the very best sweet white wines of Bordeaux.
It is located like most of its counterparts in the Sauternes appellation, and the two grape varieties used are Sémillon (mainly) and Sauvignon Blanc.
This bottle of Château de Fargues 1962 comes from a very good vintage in Sauternes. Like the majority of sweet wines, the past years have improved it and today it reveals a wide aromatic palette.
